18 U.S.C. § 2257 Record-Keeping Statement

The Kuriuus platform is operated by

Kuriuus is a social interaction platform where registered users send, receive, and post questions and ratings — called Sparks. The platform is designed for entertainment and genuine social connection between users aged 18 and over.

All individuals who appear in any content on the Kuriuus platform are verified to be 18 years of age or older at the time of content upload. Kuriuus enforces a strict self-only content policy: users may only upload content in which they themselves appear. The individual appearing in any content is therefore always the verified account holder.

Age verification is conducted via real-time biometric facial scan with liveness detection. The threshold applied is 21 years or over — a conservative safety margin above the legal minimum. Where the biometric scan is inconclusive, identity document verification is required (Passport, Driving Licence, or National Identity Card) before any content upload is permitted.

For users based in the United States who upload content determined to contain explicit sexual content, a full identity document verification is conducted, capturing legal name, date of birth, and a copy of a government-issued identity document. These records satisfy the requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257.

Kuriuus maintains records in compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 for all media content uploaded to the platform. Identity document verification is required universally for all media uploaders, so records exist for all uploaded content regardless of the uploader’s location or the nature of the content.

Records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date content was last produced or distributed on the platform, in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. § 75.2.

Records required under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 are maintained by and available for inspection at the office of the designated Custodian of Records:

Inspection requests must be submitted in writing to the Custodian of Records. Records will be made available within the timeframe required by law. For compliance enquiries from authorised payment partners, records will be produced within 48 hours of a written request.

Kuriuus operates a zero-tolerance policy on the following, which are prohibited on the platform without exception:

• Any content depicting individuals under the age of 18.
• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery or content uploaded without the informed consent of the individual depicted.
• Content created using artificial intelligence or digital manipulation to fabricate or synthesise a person’s likeness (deepfakes).
• Any content violating applicable laws in the jurisdiction in which it is created, uploaded, or received.

This statement is reviewed and updated periodically. It is made pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 and applies to all content on the Kuriuus platform that falls within the scope of those provisions.
