The Kuriuus platform is operated by

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kuriuus. We verify age at sign-up and apply additional identity verification before any media can be uploaded. You must provide accurate information during verification; using another person’s identity or documents is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent termination.

You may not use Kuriuus if we have previously banned your account, or if doing so is prohibited under the laws that apply to you.

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens on it. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and do not share or transfer your account to anyone else. Notify us immediately at support@kuriuus.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

One person, one account. Operating multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or anonymity protections is prohibited.

Sparks are questions, polls, ratings, and reactions exchanged on Kuriuus — publicly or privately, anonymously or not. Sparks are ephemeral by design: they expire and are removed from active systems after their storage period ends.

Kuriuus enforces a strict self-only content policy: you may only upload photos and video in which you yourself appear. You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting it, you grant Kuriuus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where retention is required by law.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We may remove any content that violates these terms and may report unlawful content to relevant authorities.

Anonymous sparks hide your identity from the recipient, not from Kuriuus. We retain the link between every spark and the account that sent it for safety, moderation, and legal compliance.

Anonymity is a feature for honest curiosity — not a shield for abuse. Using anonymity to harass, threaten, or demean another person is a violation of these terms and will result in account termination. If you use the identity reveal option, the reveal is permanent and cannot be undone.

You must not, under any circumstances:

• Post or send content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
• Upload content depicting any person other than yourself, or any person under 18.
• Post non-consensual intimate imagery, or create or share synthetic or manipulated likenesses of any person (deepfakes).
• Impersonate any person, misrepresent your identity during verification, or operate an account on behalf of someone else.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the platform, or attempt to probe, breach, or reverse-engineer its security.
• Use Kuriuus to spam, advertise, or solicit users for services off the platform.
• Attempt to deanonymise the sender of an anonymous spark.

Kuriuus offers free and paid plans, pay-as-you-go spark packs, and tipping. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments for completed transactions — including delivered sparks, processed tips, and elapsed subscription periods — are non-refundable. Consumers in the UK have a 14-day cancellation right for subscriptions, which ends early once you use the paid service during that period.

Champion and Boost users can earn tips for answering sparks and custom requests. Earnings accrue to your account balance and are paid out via our payment partners, subject to identity verification and minimum payout thresholds shown in your payout dashboard.

You are responsible for any taxes due on your earnings. We may withhold or reverse earnings that result from fraud, self-tipping, chargebacks, or violations of these terms.

Kuriuus — including the app, website, branding, design, and software — is owned by Kuriuus Software Limited and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform except as permitted by law.

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or restrict features at any time if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use poses a risk to other users or the platform. Where appropriate, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.

Zero-tolerance violations — including content involving minors, non-consensual imagery, and identity fraud — result in immediate permanent termination and may be reported to law enforcement. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences required for legal retention, payment obligations, and liability limits) will survive.

Kuriuus is provided “as is”. While we work hard to keep the platform available and secure, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and content on the platform reflects its authors — not our views.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the amounts you paid us in that period.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we will give you reasonable advance notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use Kuriuus after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.
